I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! YOU ALWAYS FEAR THE AGE THAT SEEMS SO FAR AWAY…I CAN REMEMBER BEING 21 AND SAYING THAT 30 IS SO OLD….NOW I AM HERE!
I GUESS IT IS TIME TO START MAKING SOME NEW GOALS THAT SEEM UNREALISTIC BUT I WILL DO! NOW I HAVE TO SIT AND THINK OF THEM!

So a little back blogging…..Amy & Kevin got married on July 22, 2007 at the Saybrook Point Inn.
I love the atmosphere at this place! It is so airy and relaxing…I mean how can you not be relaxed its on the ocean!
Amy and Kevin had the most perfect day……not to to hot. The ceremony was beautiful and then we got to go on the boating dock for photos! It was so much fun with the bridal party. They were such a blast!
All in all it was a beautiful day!

From the time I met Heather and Mike I knew this would be a fun wedding.
Heather and Mike really wanted a rustic farm setting and Tyrone Farm was perfect!
The day was hot hot hot! But once the sun went down it was perfect!

I knew from the time I had my engagement sesion with Hil and KJ that I was in for a real treat with their wedding. There is just so much energy and love coming off the two of them it is amazing. Hil is filled with so much fun and KJ so much laughter the two is a perfect fit!
Now what do I have to say about their wedding but OH MY GOSH!!!!!!
Just going through their photos I get so excited and I start to dance around in my studio…if you want to picture that ha!
So where do I start ….the rain in the am that cleared by noon…..the high engery from not only the 2 of them but also the bridal party or how much time they gave me for photos. Which by the way a BIG THANKS for that guys!
The party was amazing thanks to Keith Alan once again! He is an amazing Dj I must say. It went from a wedding at the Goodwin to Club Goodwin! The dance floor was packed….the drinks were a flowing and the bride and groom…….. a smilin!

Okay I know I have posted out of order and I try not to do that but some how it has happened.
I could of not asked for a better fall day then 09.07.07! It is quite odd friday was nice and coll then the next day was hotter than anything…I guess thats how it is sometimes.
Well Heather and Sam tied the knot on this wonderful friday at The Log Cabin. It was a perfect day except the haze in the sky ….which is a bummer cause The Log Cabin has an incredible view on a clear day. Either way Heather look amazing. She has this beauty to her and Sam well….he cleaned up nice too!
I could of not aked for a better couple and guests. I have gotten some of the best candids that day you will have to see for yourself in the slideshow below!

Of course it had to be on the second hottest day …in my book…this year for my wedding season. The ceremony and reception was at the Webb Barn in Wethersfield. It is such a cute sopt but only thing is no air conditioning! It’s in an old barn which give you such a rustic feeling.
Regardless every thing went on with out a hitch. As soon as the sun went down it cooled off and the party was jumpin!

The first dance
Where do I even start? I have been going through these photos for awhile and today got so exctied about the wedding all over again I had to blog and get something up!
It all started when Betsy and Kersten came in and met with me. They originally planned a wedding for this past June at the Farmington Club. During our meeting I asked her WHY NOT GREECE? Only for alot of her family lived in Greece…the mainland that is. Well after our meeting they wanted a contract but instead of returning it they called me and said they changed their wedding to Santorini, Greece!
I was exstatic! Now most know I do alot of Greek wedding here in the states so I was stoked about doing a Greek wedding in Greece…how similar was it to the ceremonys here? I was so excited for the bright white and blue colors of the island, the georgous views for photography, the experience and best of all going with Betsy and Kersten! I could not ask for a better couple!
I was also excited for now this made me an International Destination Photographer yeah!!!!!!
Either way I was stoked!
So we landed in Santorini 2 days before the wedding and got to met Margarita and Maria who took Rob and I around the island alittle and showed us the Greek Church and Venues. I could not believe how small the church was and also to find out there was 250 churches on this little island!
Well now the wedding day came and it was georgous…about 95 but no humidity…..blue skies and a beautiful bride. The ceremony was exactly the same as home except instead of the father walking down the bride he walks her to the front of the church and give her to the groom outside. Then the priest walks the bride and groom into the church. Another interesting fact is they can throw rice inside the church during a certain part of the ceremony.

So I just got off the phone with Jenny….her wedding was June this year. Anyhow as we were chit chatting about her Trash The Dress Session and ideas for in NYC she starts laughing. She then asks if she could send a photo or two to me from her wedding the Videographer Paul Nash
took of me and Autumn from that day. I say yeah! Well I just got it and cannot stop laughing see yourself!

This is the perfect time of the year to be shooting! The light is amazing at night and the crisp cool air is setting in! That’s right fall is about to begin and what better way to enjoy it then a beach engagement session!
Stef + G approached me about going to the beach since their wedding is in the middle of October and they will have foliage. So we went to my favorite beach to shoot at Hammannasset.
What a fun couple…like most once warmed up they were giving me those expressions I love and you can really see how much G love Stef! Just look at his expressions in the below photos! Now if I could only get 2 hours on the wedding day for photos…….hmmmmmmm……

Whats a beach session without a sunset???
So a couple weeks back the Horan family called me and asked if I would drive out to Charlestown, RI for a family portrait on the beach.
So the day was perfect sunny, breezey and perfect temp of about 75. As we walked down to the beach what happens it gets more and more windy! WHAT A CHALLENGE! But I am always up for a good challenge!
