BUT MY BROTHER!!!!!!

That’s right my little brother….okay not so little but little to me……is getting married FRIDAY!!!!

I am really excited to gain a sister and then in about 4 months a little niece or newphew.

So as you may tell the weekend of 10.12.07 was very busy. I never do 3 weddings in a row but some how I managed to have 3 that weekend.

The weekend ended with Amy and Jerry’s wedding at the Colonade in Glastonbury.

It figures on Saturday is was gorgeous and on Sunday it was chilly and windy. But A + J were good about going outside. Right next to the Colonade was this little old red barn that we used for photos it worked out awesome with the colors A had picked out. I was very excited about this!

Where do I even start?

Melissa is such a brilliant bride! She was filled with tons of smiles and laughter the whole day! She is nothing short of amazing.

Troy, an artist himself, complements Melissa in every way.

Together they are a stunning couple and their smiles and laughter is contagious to everyone!

I was so excited when I booked this wedding for the reception was at the new RIVERHOUSE! Located in East Haddam. This hall is nothing short of amazing. The staff is so helpful, Robin the Banquet Manager was accomodating….Thank You Robin! The decor is top notch and very fresh!

So the past 2 weekends have been busy…..but that’s October for you. The month of October becomes like a wedding windwhirl…everyone wants to try and catch the cool air or the changing of the leaves. One thing I always tell my couples….Do Not plan your wedding day for the reason on the cool air or the foliage. Perfect example my 10.12.07 wedding. It was cool….very cool…windy and rainy in the am!

Now to the blog….

Val and Joe

LOVE THEM! They are just so sweet and in love! No matter what Val doe not seem to let anything get her down.

This wedding was extra special though see I meet Val over a year ago and had the pleasure of photographing one of her friends wedding Marisa. I then got to see Val again at her Joe’s sister’s wedding, Cheryl in May.

Any how it was so nice to see all my past brides and my up-coming bride Marcey which is Val’s sister.

Okay enough about that……on to the day!

Everything went smoothly…we ended up doing photos at The Palace in Waterbury, then downtown waterbury, then the Farmington Club. Thats where the reception was at too!

As usual they did an amazing job with the service! Marty Q rocked the house! He brings such and elegance to the evening. Not only is he a DJ but he plays the sax and sings! He is awesome at Sinatra!

Well the night came to an end and well you just can check out the photos and the show at the end!

PUMPKIN IS???????

I am so upset….I woke up and walked outside my house this AM to only find that some neighood kid or maybe adult has theifed my PUMPKIN!!!

I live in an Edward Scissor Hands type of neighorhood. Of course some neighbors don’t like others but for the most part it is typical suburbia. Double sided sidewalks…….barley any cars passing through…you could leave your front door unlocked and no one would steal from you…….well I thought that until this AM.

I am so steamed and Rob thinks its funny…so if any of my neighbors happen to be reading this could you please return my pumpkin so I can carve it out for the kiddies next week for Halloween!!!!!

I AM SO EXCITED…..

While watching the UFC on Saturday Night I found out THE SAW 4 is coming out. This movie is one of my favorites! The first time I saw it I got so scared and now Rob and I keep going to the theaters everytime a new one is out!

so i am so excited cause it comes out on Friday but i will have to wait until Sunday to try and go see it for….MY BROTHER IS GETTING MARRIED!

My neighbors Steve and Alexis have been asking me to photography their 2 kids Rachel and Mikey for sometime now. Finally I said “Hey Let’s do photos in the leaves!” So Sunday morning they brought R + M over for some FUN IN THE LEAVES! Now M is almost 2 and has never been in leaves before so it was fun to see him running through them and throwing them up in the air. The light was perfect …its awesome in my backyard in the early morning!
