I have been following Versona since she was about 3 months old. SO when her 1st Birthday arrived it was only natural we do a shoot!

I have to say I am so in love with this little girl. I wish I had video from the shoot. Her mom sings in Italian and Versona dances sitting! too cute!

Also just to let you know all these photos were shot right outside my STUDIO! I found so interesting spots right outside my front door to shot. Goes to show you that you you can shot a great shot ANYWHERE!!!

FIRST ANNUAL MOMMY MAKEOVER CONTEST!!!!!!

Wedding season is approaching rapidly but before wedding season is what I call engagement season!

In all my services for weddings I do a Getting To Know You Session.

This is where Megan and I take the couple to a location or 2 or 3 and photograph them.
This gives us all a chance to get to know each other and be alittle more comfortable on the wedding day.

SOOOOOOO…….. last Saturday Meg and I met up with Stephanie & Nick down in Essex. We started off at the trains
and then moved on to his beach house in Westbrook. We had at the trains but when we got to the beach something
magical happened. Both Stef and Nick became very relaxed and their love for each other came out so much. It
was so assuring that their wedding day will be a snap!

Thanks Stef and Nick for spending the day with us for a little fun in the sun!

WELL ITS NOT REALLY A SPOT BUT NOT MANY PEOPLE GO THERE. SO SUNDAY I WILL BE OFF IN THE AFTERNOON TO FISH. I WILL BRING MY CAMERA TO SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY!

LONZY AND A LITTLE SUNFISH FROM A POND!

Alot of things have happened in the past year with my brides and grooms.

Recently in the past couple of months one of my couples had a family passing. It was when I received notice that this happened my brain got thinking.

You never know what is going to happen in life. The good or the bad. It made me really realize that photographs are soooo important and especially wedding photographs. How you capture this important moment in time that will never happen again. How these photos become a treasure and of such importance.

Today I got this email from a couple that recently received their album. When I opened the email and read what they wrote to me I felt that I wanted to share this immediately with everyone. As I was reading their email I got tears in my eyes. It felt so good to be able to capture their moment in time and be of such importance to them. i am so happy that they have these memories to treasure forever.

The email read as below:

“We just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you.

Our (big fat Greek) wedding album is the most beautiful piece of work we have ever seen.

You did a fantastic job of laying everything out and putting the perfect amount of each family member and event that happened throughout the day in the album. We never realized how precious pictures can be until the untimely passing of John’s father and my father in law.

You captured him, my mother in law and my parents in such a beautiful light….I never realized how certain pictures can be taken for granted until you are looking at them in a different light and while John and I were looking at the album this weekend we saw a picture of our first dance and in the background all of our parents were talking together and so happy. That is how I want to remember my father in law always. It brought tears to my eyes.

I cannot thank you enough for your beautiful work. (even my father the man of so little words, was blown away at the beauty of the album) and my grandparents commented of how real the pictures felt and it brings you right back to that day. And even though I cannot wear my dress everyday like I want to I can look at the book and feel like I did that day.

It will always be treasured for years to come.

We will see you soon and Marcy and Jay’s wedding!!!

Boy last Saturday was a busy day!

I had the pleasure of photographing Baby Quinlan who is 3 weeks old! She is too cute for words. Luckily she came with wide open eyes and then got hungry! Why is this a good thing you ask? Hungry babies mean sleepy time after being feed! Those sleeping photos are the most precious ones when they are little.

Last Saturday Megan and I met Rob and Jen for their “getting to know you” session. These are my FAVORITES to do. I love to see how the couple interacts with each other. I also like to take this time to get to know them better as a couple and individuals. With all the stress and chaos on the wedding day I use this time to connect with my couples.

So I had mentioned to Rob and Jen that the Mini Carnival was in town in Middletown. So off we went to start at the carnival. After about an hour their we decided to go to Middletown Center and walk around. Middletown center is an awesome place to photograph. There are so many nooks and crannies you would not believe!

FIRST AFTER THIS POST THERE ARE 2 MORE NEW POSTS!!!!! I HAVE BEEN HAVING A POSTING DAY!!!!!

Well I had the pleasure of following Olivia for an entire year!
I got to see her grow, change and her little personality come about. It has been such an experience
to be able to be a part of her 1st year!

Yesterday morning I meet Olivia and her Mom at Mikey’s Place in Wethersfield. I have to say for any
local Moms looking for a fun outdoor location this place is it! It is a huge playscape one for young kids
and another for older kids!

Okay back to Olivia……. so i met Olivia and Mom down at Mikey’s Place and we had so much fun. Not to
mention I think I got a touch of Spring Fever being out there at 11am. So anyhow Olivia had a blast! It
was her first time at a playground and she just did not know what to do.

Well Olivia you are 1 now HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
