Where do I start on this post???

Maybe with the heat wave that came through……

the 98 degree weather…….

or how the humidity was super sticky!

Thats right I had the pleasure of photographing Laura & Mike’s wedding on July 18th on what has been the hottest,
stickiest day of the wedding season yet!!!!!!!

The day started off so relaxed as Laura was getting ready. Laura was shining with a smile ear to ear and so excited
to be marrying Mike on this day!

Her dress was simply amazing! Lace head to toe but so elegant. She even completed the look with her mother’s veil
from her wedding day! It just added the right touch!

Laura also had the cutest flower girl and ring bearer. These little tikes are
very special to Laura. And guess what the little tikes Mom I went to high school with! It is always fun catching up!

I will have to say Laura looked smashing! Elegance, beauty and a killer dress!

Not to mention her girls looked amazing too!

Now I knew before the photos that Mike was going to be eager to be partying and celebrating with they guys. So I knew I had nothing but a bit of time with him. And not to mention the heat that was making everyone antsy! So I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to Mike for giving me the time for these next hot photos!

WELCOME CAROLINE!

Thats what big sister Keira said to 6 week old Caroline.

Susan called me a couple of weeks ago asking about newborn photos. When I told her about my on location service she was sooooooo excited and hit me up for a date.

Little did I know when i got to the house Susan had an idea all of her own. As soon as I entered she started to laugh as I see her pull out an old magazine of Brooke Shields. I started to crack up and all Susan said was “Do you think we can try this? Can I be Brooke Shields?”

Of course I said YEAH, let’s make you Brooke!!!!!

When I stepped into the nursery I was blown away the colors were so beautiful and the chair …. oh the chair!

Last weekend was a whirlwind of events with everything from weddings to engagements and portraits in between.

I think this engagement session has been one of my favorites yet this year!

I met Kristen through a friend of mine Lissa last October at the photo expo in NYC. At that time Kristin was in the process of moving to Rhode Island and had mentioned that she was a photographer herself! Little did I know about 8 months later she would be calling me about her wedding to Brian! How exciting! I always feel the greatest compliment you could get is another photographer hiring you for their wedding!

So I met with Kristen and Brian and was super excited about their wedding. First off it is at an amazing mansion in Bristol, RI. The Blithewold Mansion! It is right on the water, with amazing gardens and a spectacular sunset view! And the Mansion itself is amazing! I cannot wait til next July!!!!

Okay off track a bit!

So last Saturday afternoon Meg and I hopped into the car and headed towards Newport to the Greenvale Winery! This winery is very small but the people who work there are amazing! They are so nice and told us to do whatever we want to! My head started to spin! WHATEVER WE WANT TO DO YEAH BABY!!!!!

THE NEXT 2 I JUST COULD NOT DECIDE ON. AS I WAS SHOOTING I SOME HOW CAUGHT MYSELF UP IN THE GRAPE LEAVES AND THEN KEPT ROLLING WITH IT. LOVE HOW THE LEAVES FRAME THE SHOT.

MEET SKYLER:

SHE JUST TURNED 1!!!!!!!!

I met Skyler about 6 months ago when we tried to do a shoot but her teeth were coming in and it just did not work out.

But now Skyler is 1 : and happier than ever!

I had a blast in the studio with her and watching her do her little miss thang!!!!!!

Last week flew bye and sooooo much has been going on here.

Last Friday we had a wedding, followed by 2 portraits Saturday AM and then and engagement shoot that I can’t wait to share in Newport!!!!!

megan has been on my tail about blogging so before I put up anything else I first wanted to share the photobooth for Jenny and Rob’s wedding!

This one was soooooo much fun!

Last Saturday Meg & I had an amazing wedding with Jenny & Rob!

The day was by far the hottest wedding to date, but everyone was in amazing spirits despite the heat!

This wedding was extra special to shoot!

See Jen’s older brother Jimmy is a good friends with Rob. So by doing this wedding I now feel part of Jenny’s family!

I do have to say Jenny looked absoultely amazing! I love her expressions!

Jenny & Rob got married in the most amazing chapel at Trinity College! I love shooting there!

The architecture at Trinity is amazing by the chapel. The arches and light coming in is a photographers dream!

I will say that Jenny’s family knows how to dance! The entire family was shaking it all night long! not to mention it was an 8 hour reception! They were partying hard for many many hours!

First I have to apologize I have been MIA for about 3 weeks now!

Gaz and Aveen came to visit and with being out for almost 2 weeks I have been swamped on playing catch-up!

Last Saturday Meg and I had a blast at Jen and Rob’s wedding!!!!
