MEET : MATT

Matt is another high school senior that I had the funnest (is that a word?) time photographing! I have know his Dad for sometime now and have gotten to see Matt grow up from a little kid to a college freshmen! OH MY!!! Matt will be going to Eastern in the fall!

We date through college and had a long distance relationship for 3+ years…. being far apart made our relationship stronger. Brian is one of the most supportive man I know. MEET: CARLEY

I met up with Carley a couple of weeks ago to photograph her for her high school senior photos!

I have not photographed any seniors in quite sometime and I must say …. I do miss it! We had such a blast! See Carley is going to be going this fall to my old stomping grounds ….. that’s right she is going to be a freshman at U-HART!!!University of Hartford… so of course I had to give her some tips about that school …. and tell her how much FUN I had! Yeah I miss college sometimes…..

“We met in 2004 during our freshmen year at University of New Haven. It was Thursday before Halloween and our building had a decorating contest (of course my suite beat Andy’s suite). Andy’s roomie Mike was outside, so Sara and I invited him up. Mike brought Andy with him and we spent the night talking …. from there on we have been inseparable ……”  – Jen

I meet up with Jen & Andy at where else …… UNH … where their love first blossomed!

We started off in the bookstore … Jen wanted some t-shirts and I wanted some photos so it worked very well!

One thing that I LOVE about these two are that they are up for anything! I also LOVE how silly they are together and that they are constantly laughing….see for yourself….

Then we were walking towards the dorm they both met at ….. and guess what they were cleaning and it was open… what to do but go in!

Then off to the blue football field… that’s right a BLUE field how cool!! Perfect with Jen’s pink shirt!

WOW I cannot believe that the summer is flying by and weddings are in full swing here!

So much has been going on …. and there is only more to come!

A couple of weeks ago Carried & Trevor got MARRIED!!!!

I had such a great time at the wedding of Carrie & Trevor…..

What turned out to be a rainy week ….. turned into one of the most beautiful June summer day!

Hot not humid and perfect for an outdoor ceremony!

Carrie’s dress was so unique for she had the back redone from a lace up back into beading and a zipper ….AMAZING!

MEET: BABY B

I have been photographing Baby B for almost 2 years now! I cannot believe that she is almost 2! Baby B just turned 18 months and boy is she moving faster than ever! All smiles and just wanting to run around!!! Gosh how I LOVE photographing children! Just when you think you know their next move they run away or do something hilarious!

When I showed up at the playground Baby B was all shy and looking at me like ….. What is that in you hands? By the end of the shoot she was running all around and did not care about me anymore HA!

MARRIED: SARAH & TOM

I had the utmost pleasure on June 20th of being part of the marriage ceremony of Sarah & Tom. Sarah has a big ole southern heart and is one of the sweetest girls I know!We started our day out at her Mom’s house hanging out nice and early…. like 8 am early! But it was worth it!

The church was so special to Sarah and her family… it was the church she grew up going to. And it was amazing inside… the natural light coming in through the stained glass amazing! See…..

CELEBRATING: LINDSEY & JASON

What better way to celebrate being married of 6 years other than capturing that moment!

I meet Lindsey & Jason at Harkness Memorial Park in Waterford. They originally wanted their wedding here but due to  circumstances they did not get a chance to get married here. So why not then do your anniversary shoot here!

We started out in a section of the park I have NEVER been too! That’s right the park is so big I just keep rediscovering places!

I found this neat stone wall! How cool is it!

Oh did I mention during my shoot there may be a bit of KISSING!!!!

Off to the playground….

and then to the beach… there was all this yummy buttery golden light at the beach… and see the storm clouds were rolling in behind us and luckily we missed them but had some fun with an umbrella!

Happy Monday!

Even though it rained for like the entire month of June, it seems to me that I had missed the rain every time I had a shoot! Which makes me a very happy, happy person!

Engaged: Gina & Dan

Gina and I go way back….. like from bad braces and bad haircuts back! See we were teammates through all of our childhood on our local rhythmic gymnastics team! That’s the sport that you dance with hoops, ropes,ribbons, etc….. that’s the best way to put it. We were the girls that looked like Gumby…. you know all stretchy and contortionist like ha!

So anyhow when Gina called me to announce she was getting married and wanted me to photograph the wedding I was SUPER DUPER excited!!!!! Did I mention I was SUPER EXCITED!!!!! And when I meet Dan I instantly know they were a perfect match!

We talked and talked about the perfect place for their session and Harkness Memoiral Park we decided on!

Harkness Is so magical and I LOVE IT!!!!! I love the vines here and the flowers… do I need to say more?

It was a love for beer and fun that brought these two together.

MARRIED : JEN & BRIAN

I met Jen a couple of years back at her twin sister’s wedding. I made an instant bond with their family and was even more excited when Jen invited me to photograph her wedding! But I have to tell ya…. it was a tongue twister of a day! See Jen and her twin sis Christin are identical twins! I mean if one did not have a wedding dress on it would be very hard to tell them apart! So sorry Christin … I mean Jen…. if this post is abit of a mix up! LOL!

This shoe shot is by far one of my favs this season! I love how you can see the clouds in the sky!

Jen looked beautiful! Brian and Jen decided on an outdoor ceremony at Amarante’s. It was the most amazing blue sky day!
