I have been photographing both kids since they were newborns ….. so it is a blast to see them every year!!!!!

It was a beautiful sunny August day ….. and all I kept telling myself was it’s not going to rain …. it’s not…..

See I thought I have been cursed … EVERYTIME I have gone to St Clement’s Castle it RAINS!!!!!

And with this rainy summer I was terrified … no scared terrified … but the CURSE has been LIFTED!!!!!

With no rain and now a couple of weddings at St Clement’s Castle I feel my luck has changed…..

MARRIED: GINA and DAN

I have know Gina since about well I was around 15 … we were teammates on our local rhythmic gymnastics team. Over the years we would see each other, facebook or somehow get in touch ….. and the day I got her phone call about the wedding I was floored ….. honored …… and touched. See to me it is always such an honor for someone you know to hire you for their wedding day …. so Gina and Dan ….. Thank You! Okay without anymore Gina and Dan’s day!

The flowers were amazing ….. and gorgeous from Wild Orchid in Middletown so bright and vibrant!

Gina’s family is so close and so excited about her wedding! Look how pround and excited her father was waiting for her to come down stairs ….

So when I was photographing my niece’s 18 month portraits her little cousin Olivia came to visit!

And would you know it, it was time for Olivia’s 9 month portrait session!

Now little O is usually such a serious girl but let me tell you she was all smiles that day!

Now little O gave Kendra a matching dress …. so of course we had to take some COUSINS photos!

Thus one is my FAVORITE!!!!! So touching …. almost very E.T. …..

Little O cannot wait to see you in November!!!!

I could not resist to post my FAVORITE … not to mention my only … NIECE!!

Alot of you have watched Kendra grow up from a little newborn to now a little girl ……

she’s still a baby but really a little girl… I cannot believe how much she has changed and grown in just 18 months!

Seriously look at that face above … how can you not laugh and love her!

Come on …

She’s so big now that she can climb up the wooden ladder of her play-scape by herself! Now come on!

Kendra also LOVES her daddy’s  (my brother) tractor … look how happy she is just to sit up on it!

Okay so I may be a bit in LOVE with her but what Auntie wouldn’t be???

It’s that time of year to start thinking of your holiday cards and photos!

Yup I cannot believe it either!

Every August I get a visit from the Hussey Kids …. when they come from Wisconsin to visit their grandmother!

This year I thought since they do not have ocean beaches it would be a treat for them to be photographed on one!

The kids are getting so big …. and it is such a treat for me to be able to see each one develop their own personalities!

Hope you kids are having a good first week back at school!

Cannot wait to see how much you have changed next year!

It POURED! and when I mean it POURED it POURED!

She sat in a room getting her hair done staring out the picture window……. a big sigh …. and a look to her mom that said … where is the sun … or just no rain.

An amazing setting … an old mansion set on acres of land along the water …. endless gardens and only to see rain ……

but wait the sky looks to be clearing and maybe we will get out outdoor ceremony she says….

MARRIED: KRISTEN & BRIAN

We started out our day with the Kristen and the girls and capturing details….. Kristen is a photographer who is just staring out her own children’s portrait studio …. so all around her house she had the cutest details ….

Megan caught this amazing shot of the ring …. really captures the essence of Kristens place in Rhode Island

Her Oleg Cassini dress…. so elegant and perfect for a waterside wedding….

So let me set the stage … the weather clears …. so the ceremony is outside …. amazing breeze … almost through to the vows and … yup you guessed it the skies open up and pour! But ya know I just kept shooting! Sometimes the best memories are those that are unexpected…

We went into the mansion to dry up and have some romantic time…. how stunning is Kristen … really come on!

The back out for a couple more! They were such good sports about the entire day..

This one reminds me of a painting …. I love the tree and well just everything about it!

The day was the most amazing summer day! Really it was! Not too hot or too cool! Perfect!

I started out my day with the girls! Laurie had amazing flowers! Wait till you see the reception one!
